Housing is to be provided in a phased manner as a time-bound program to homeless people belonging to Scheduled Castes who are economically weaker and especially living below the poverty line. Also, the government is giving assistance of Rs. This assistance is repaid in total of 3 installments. In this scheme, the first installment of 40,000, the second installment of 60,000 and the third installment of 20,000 is given. Thus a total of 1,20,000 is given.
Who Can Benefit from Housing Scheme?
There are certain eligibility requirements to get the benefit of Ambedkar Awas Yojana which are as follows:
The applicant should be a resident of Gujarat to get the benefit of Ambedkar Awas Yojana.
The age of the applicant should be at least 21 years.
The applicant has to write the name and personal information in the application according to his certificates.
If the beneficiary has availed this type of scheme earlier then the application will be rejected.
After receiving the second installment of housing assistance, the beneficiary will have to complete the housing work within one year.
This scheme can be availed only by economically weaker persons belonging to Scheduled Castes.
Annual income should not exceed ₹.600,000 in rural area and ₹.600,000 in urban area.
After submitting the application online, the applicant has to deposit two copies of the application in the Zilla Panchayat.
After the house is completely built, the Ambedkar Awas Yojana plaque should be compulsorily installed.
Dr. Benefits Available for Ambedkar Awas Yojana
A total assistance of 1,20,000 will be available for building a house.
This amount will be paid in three installments.
Beneficiaries will get their own fixed house under this scheme.
The first installment of 40,000, the second installment of 60,000 and the third installment of 20,000 will be paid.
First 40,000 then 60,000 and lastly 20,000 are given.
Among them the first installment is given with the order of administrative approval, then the second installment after reaching the lintel level and the third installment after the completion of the work including toilets.

Applicant should have Aadhaar Card.
Income certificate is required.
Need a ration card.
There must be an instance of caste.
Any one of Residence Proof (Electricity Bill/Driving License/Rental Agreement, Election Card/Ration Card).
Proof of land ownership
Must have bank passbook.
Instance of death of husband (if widow)
A copy of the map showing the area of the land on which the building is to be constructed

First open the website https://esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in to fill the form.
After that click on “New Registration” to create a new account.
All information has to be filled and submitted.
After that Id and password will come in your mobile and you have to login.
After login all the schemes will be opened then click on Ambedkar Awas Yojana.
After that all your information has to be filled.
After filling the information, the document has to be uploaded.
After uploading the document, the application has to be saved in Last.
Application is to be submitted after saving the application.
After submitting the application, the application number will be sent to your mobile.
After that the application has to be printed.
