Certain eligibility criteria for Manav Garima Yojana are set by Department of Social Justice and Empowerment and Department of Scheduled Caste Welfare. Which are as follows.

The number of applications approved in the financial year-2021-22 was higher in the state of Gujarat. These applications were much higher than the target. Keeping in view the target limits set by the Social Welfare Department, a computerized draw was made of the sanctioned applications.
