What is Ayushman Bharat Yojana? (What Is Ayushman Bharat Yojana In Gujarati)
Ayushman Bharat Yojana is a healthcare project launched by the Government of India to improve the health and well-being of the country’s poorest citizens. The Ayushman Card includes two major health initiatives: the Health and Wellness Center (HWC) and the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Under the PMJAY scheme, more than ten crore families have been covered under PMJAY Insurance of Rs.5 lakh each. The initiative provides cashless treatment in state hospitals and private facilities that have been approved by the government.
Objective of Ayushman Bharat Yojana
The aim of Ayushman Bharat is only that poor people who are fighting against many diseases and due to lack of money cannot go for treatment in hospital and die in agony at home. They will be able to get their treatment free through Ayushman Card, the scheme provides eligible applicants with a smart card known as Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana Card. So that they can get financial help from the government. He can get free treatment up to 5 lakhs by going to his nearest government hospital or private hospital. For Ayushman Card, individuals can apply for Ayushman Card by visiting their nearest hospital or CSC center running under Ayushman Yojana.

PMJAY is applicable to all the beneficiaries identified by SECC 2011 (Socio Economic and Caste Census) and who are already part of RSBY and Amritham Yojana (in Scheme). However, how to check whether you are eligible to be a beneficiary of PMJAY and whether your name is in the Ayushman card list is mentioned below.
STEP 1 : Visit the Mera PMJAY portal https://mera.pmjay.gov.in/search/login
STEP 2 : Enter your mobile number and captcha code and click on ‘Generate OTP’
STEP 3 : Then select your state and search by Name/HHD Number/Ration Card Number/Mobile Number
STEP 4 : Based on the results after searching, you can check whether your family is covered under PMJAY or not.
STEP 5: After that you will see 24 digit HHID number. Which you should keep. It will be required while issuing Ayushman Card.
