Purpose of Gharghanti Sahay Machine Scheme 2023
Under the free sewing machine scheme by the Gujarat government, laborers and poor women will be able to take care of themselves and their families well by getting free household assistance. One of the objectives of this scheme is to provide employment to women. Under this scheme householders can start their own employment at home by getting assistance, from which they can earn good income. The benefit of this scheme will be given to economically weaker women and working women in both urban and rural areas of the state.

Criteria and Eligibility of Household Assistance Scheme
The age of people applying under this scheme should be between 16 years to 60 years.
Applicant’s family income should be upto Rs.1,20,000/- for rural area and up to Rs.1,50,000/- for urban area.Taluka Mamlatdar or Municipal Chief Officer or authorized officer of Municipal Corporation in metropolitan area has to submit income proof. .
Only economically weaker sections of the country will be eligible under this scheme.
