Keeping this in mind, several schemes have been implemented by the Directorate of Social Security. In which Ghar Ghanti Sahay Yojana by Divyang Sadhan Sahay is an important scheme. Assistance available under Gharghanti Sahai Scheme
Under Divyang Sadhan Sahay 2023, beneficiaries are given various means of assistance. In which one can start a new business for grinding grains. For that “Gharghanti Saad Sahaad” is provided. 20000/- rupees is given in this equipment assistance scheme.
Eligibility to avail the scheme
Applicant’s age should be between 16 to 60 years.
Applicant’s family income should be up to Rs.1,20,000/- for rural areas and up to Rs.1,50,000/- for urban areas. Income proof, attested by Taluka Mamlatdar, Municipal Chief Officer or authorized officer of Municipal Corporation, has to be submitted.
Only economically weaker sections of the society are eligible for this scheme.
Widows and disabled persons are also eligible to apply and avail this scheme.
Documents required to avail the scheme
Copy of Aadhaar card of the applicant.
Copy of Election Card of the applicant.
Copy of the first and second pages of the applicant’s rationing card.
Supporting evidence regarding the applicant’s age.
Caste certificate of the applicant.
Copy of BPL if applicant is from rural area and copy of gold card if applicant is from urban area.
Example of annual income of the applicant.
Certificate if the applicant has any business experience.
2 passport size photographs of the applicant.
How to apply online?
First of all you have to type “e-Samaj Kalyan” in Google.
In which the official website of Social Justice and Empowerment Department e-Samaj Kalyan Portal will be opened.
After clicking on the e-Samaj Kalyan portal, one has to go to the tab named “Niyamak Samaj Suraksha”.
Now you click on scheme number-4 “Prosthetic organs and equipment support scheme for the disabled”.
If you have created User Id and Password earlier then you have to do “Login to Portal”.
In which the online form of the scheme will open, in which all the information in “Personal Details” has to be filled and click on “Save & Next”.
Now you have to select the application for “Gharghanti Aid” specially considering your experience and studies.
Enter the details of the training certificate and experience certificates you have received for grain milling.
Then upload your disability certificates.
The applicant now has to upload a copy of Aadhaar card, copy of ration card and copy of business experience etc.
After that read the given terms and conditions and click “Confirm Application”.
Finally, the application number received from the online application should be kept in a safe place.
