Eligible girl students will be given free cycle.
Eligibility Criteria
Permanent residents of Gujarat.
Applicant must be a girl student.
Girl should be studying in 9th standard.
The annual family income of a girl student should be:-
Rs. 1,20,000/- in rural areas.
Rs. 1,50,000/- in urban area.
Girl student should belong to Scheduled Caste or Developing Caste.
Documents required for Gujarat Saraswati Sadhana Cycle Scheme
Domicile or residence proof of Gujarat.
Aadhaar card of the girl child.
Aadhaar card of parents.
Caste Certificate.
Income certificate.
Bank account details.
How to Apply for Gujarat Saraswati Sadhana Cycle Scheme?
Eligible girl beneficiary need not apply anywhere to avail the benefit of free cycle under Gujarat Sadhana Yojana.
The principal of the school in which the girl studies will prepare a list of eligible girl beneficiaries.
Thereafter, the school principal will upload the list of eligible girl beneficiaries in the Gujarat Government’s Digital Gujarat Portal.
Recommended applications of eligible beneficiaries will then be verified by the District Social Welfare Officer.
After verification, the department will generate and distribute vouchers to the beneficiaries to get free bicycles.
The beneficiary has to visit the authorized bicycle dealer with the received voucher to avail the free bicycle.
