Gujarat sports Shaktidoot Sahay Yojana 2024
This scheme is a scheme for Gujarat Sports. In the year 2006, Shakti Doot Yojana has been released by the Gujarat government for talented players in any sports field within the state of Gujarat to achieve state or international level achievement and name the state and national. The aim of this scheme is to prepare champions of any sportsperson of Gujarat state who are talented and take them towards excellence by providing sports related facilities on a need basis considering their ability.

From the year 2016-17 Shakti Dudh Yojana players are selected through a point system with chances of participating in the Olympics 2020/24 and players representing Olympic playing countries will benefit.
Games recognized by the School Games Federation of India, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games and Afro-Asian Games and included in the Olympics will be recognized and their achievement will be decided by a committee appointed by the Govt.
Players below 12 years of age like those who have won the state level schemer competition will be selected under this scheme keeping in view their sporting achievements.
Winners of Open Division Junior Sub Junior Competitions organized by Hon’ble All India Federation will be included in this scheme based on their priority of achievement.
The sporting achievements of the selected player for the previous two years will be taken into account.
The age of the sportsperson at the time of selection should be up to 20 years However, the eligible sportspersons may be considered for relaxation of the limit on merits of the case as a good special case subject to the approval of the Govt.
Any player found to be using prohibited drugs or otherwise incapacitated will be immediately dropped from the scheme.
Gujarat sports Sahay Yojana
Prospective Olympic athletes 2020/24 are eligible for assistance up to a maximum limit of ₹25 lakh per annum.
An annual assistance of Rs five lakhs to other talented players.
Maximum limit assistance of Rs 2.50 lakh to young talent players.
Provision of sending the player for competition, training abroad.
mediclaim coverage of Rs.5 lakhs Accidental death insurance coverage of Rs.5 lakhs to each player.
Gujarat sports Sahay Yojana
To avail the benefit of the scheme, the eligible players will have to apply after the publication of the daily eligibility notification by the Sports Authority of Gujarat. The application will be approved by the Shakti Doot Scheme Committee.
