Nowadays, most of the people have smartphones. But people who live in villages and have low income, cannot afford smartphones. Thus, the state government helps the farmers living in the village on the purchase of smartphones. Farmers can get medicine and other information online using this smartphone. After crop production, crop market information can also be accessed online through smartphones. Thus, assistance has been provided to farmers on the purchase of smartphones for various reasons.
Benefits of Mobile Sahay Yojana Gujarat
Khedut Smartphone Sahay Yojana Assistance is provided to farmers to purchase mobile phones. There are certain eligibility criteria to avail this scheme, which are as follows:
If the farmers of the state purchase a mobile, they get 40% subsidy on the cost of the mobile.
15,000/- up to the purchase price of the mobile can be availed by the government.
Assistance up to 40% of purchase price of mobile or Rs 6,000/- whichever is less.
For example, if a farmer buys a mobile worth Rs 10,000, he will get a subsidy of 40% or Rs 4,000. Or if a farmer buys a mobile worth Rs 17,000, then the 40% article becomes Rs 6,800 but the subsidy will be maximum Rs 6,000.
Beneficiary eligibility under Khedut Mobile Yojana
Financial assistance is provided on smartphone purchase for agricultural farmers of Gujarat state. For this, you should have the following eligibility:
You must be resident of Gujarat state.
Should have agricultural land i.e. farmer name should be in 7/12, 8-a.
Even if you have more than one account, you can get support only once.
Even if you own land in more than one village, you can get assistance only once.
Any joint account holder will get the benefit of this scheme. (For example, in 7/12,8-A there are total 10 holders, then any one of them will get the benefit of this scheme)
The benefit of this scheme will be available only for the purchase of smartphones. Cover, toughened glass, ear phone, battery backup device, charger, and other accessories will also not be included with this smartphone.

Things to consider before buying a smartphone
To avail this scheme one has to apply online from ikhedut portal.
After applying online, pre-approval will be given by Taluka Enforcement Officer.
Approved applications will be notified through SMS/e-mail or other means.
Beneficiaries selected for this scheme have to purchase mobile within 15 days with pre-approved order.
After purchasing the mobile within the stipulated time, the beneficiary farmer has to sign the application form.
A signed print out along with all other documents has to be submitted to Gram Sevak/Extension Officer/Taluka Enforcement Officer.
After the implementation of this scheme, the bill for the purchase of the mobile has to be deposited within the prescribed time limit
How to apply? How To Apply For Mobile Sahay Yojana Gujarat
First of all you have to visit the official website of Ikhedut Portal @ ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in.
You will be redirected to the homepage of the website. On the homepage, you need to click on “Gujarat Mobile Yojana for Farmers” option.
After that, the registration form will open on your screen. Enter all the details on the application form correctly.
Now you have to upload the required documents along with the application form.
Finally, click on the submit option and your registration for Gujarat Mobile Scheme for Farmers will be complete.
Khedutamitra has to get a print out of the application after applying online.
After applying online, take a printout of the application and after signing it, submit it along with all the documents to the Taluk Extension Officer of your area, Agriculture and Gramsevak.

Mobile Sahay Yojana Gujarat is provided by the state government agriculture department for the farmers of Gujarat on mobile purchases. Farmers have to apply online for availing this assistance with time limit date: 15/10/2024.
