Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana: Chief Minister Mahila Utkarsh Yojana was launched on 26 February 2020. This scheme has been launched by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana has been launched for women. Chief Minister Mahila Utkarsh Loan Scheme 2020-21 has been launched recently on 17th September. Through this scheme, loans will be provided to the women of the state, which will be interest free. Through this scheme, urban and rural women can take loans up to Rs.1 lakh at 0%.
All women self-help groups in the state have to register online to avail the benefits of the Chief Minister’s Mahila Yojana. Chief Minister Mahila Utkarsh Yojana has been released for women empowerment. People have to face many difficulties due to corona virus. Loans will be given easily to all the women of the state. The interest amount of the loan taken by the women of the state will be paid by the state government to the banks.

Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana: The main purpose of this scheme is that the women of the state can get a foothold economically by doing business and employment in groups by former Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani. Women will have to form groups of 10 women and under this scheme a total of 1 lakh such groups will be formed. In which there will be 50000 groups of urban areas and 50000 groups of rural areas. All groups will be given an interest free loan of Rs.1,00,000/- for a period of 1 year. All these groups will be known as Joint Liability Earning and Saving Group.
Objective of Chief Minister Mahila Utkarsh Yojana
The main purpose of this scheme is that the women of the state can gain a foothold economically by doing business and employment in the group.
Under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana, the government aims to provide an interest-free loan of Rs.1 lakh for one year to all those women groups.
To provide self-employment and livelihood among women through the medium of credit.
Who can benefit from Chief Minister Mahila Utkarsh Yojana?
10 women willing to get credit
The age of every female member joining the team should be between 18 years to 59 years.
Only one woman of a family can be taken as a member in a group.
The members of the group should live in the same area / work in the same area.
Documents required for Chief Minister Mahila Utkarsh Yojana
Passport size photographs of each member of the group
Aadhaar card of every member of the group
Proof of residence of each member of the group
Joint bank account of group members
Chief Minister Mahila Utkarsh Yojana Terms and Conditions
Surviving SHGs registered under the existing scheme DAY-NULM / other Self Help Group (SHG) with no outstanding loan from any lending institution can also avail this scheme.
Widows and disabled sisters will be given priority in this scheme. Along with economic activity through the group, saving work will also have to be done.
10,000/- per month to be paid as loan installments. Hence each female member of the group has to pay Rs.1,000/- monthly installments.
11th and 12th of this month on payment of regular monthly installments amount of two monthly installments of Rs.10,000/- will be credited to the group account as savings.
Under this scheme, the group is provided with a completely interest-free loan on regular monthly installments.
A joint account of the group shall be opened by the group, in which each member shall deposit Rs. 300/- to be deposited in the bank savings account of the group.
All the members of the group shall be liable to repay the loan taken by the members of the group which shall be equally repaid by the members. A president, minister and treasurer for the group shall be duly elected by the members of the group and shall conduct bank transactions on behalf of the group.
All the provisions of this scheme have to be followed by the group otherwise the interest subsidy will not be available.
How to Apply for Chief Minister Mahila Utkarsh Yojana?
Women from urban areas should take the form and apply from the “Urban Community Department Center” of the Metropolitan Municipality.
Women in rural areas should approach the office of the “Women and Child Development Officer” of the Taluka Panchayat.
