In addition, the Horticulture Department is responsible for implementing horticulture schemes and providing subsidy assistance.

Gujarat Pumpset sahay yojana horticulture scheme presents a unique initiative for farmers. It is important to encourage the agricultural community to turn to horticulture to increase their income by increasing productivity. Within this field, specialized equipment like water pumps play an important role in efficiently irrigating crops and plants.
Eligibility for availing this scheme
Pumpset sahay yojana The Department of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation lends its support to this scheme. To avail the benefits of this initiative, applicants must complete the online application on the i-Khedut platform. The Department of Horticulture has specified the criteria which determine the eligibility of the beneficiary farmers for availing the benefits offered by the scheme. These criteria are outlined below.
Candidate should be from Gujarat state.
The farmer should be considered as recipient.
The scheme caters only to individuals residing in Anand, Bharuch, Surat, Valsad, Navsari, Narmada, Tapi, Vadodara, Panchmahal and Kheda districts, ensuring its benefit only to the citizens of these areas.
In this setup, the farmer is required to purchase the equipment from an approved vendor.
To avail the benefit of this scheme, the beneficiary farmer has to submit an online application.
Benefits available under Pumpset Assistance Scheme
This scheme is applicable only for Anand, Bharuch, Surat, Valsad, Navsari, Narmada, Tapi, Vadodara, Panchmahal, Kheda districts.
Farmers who are eligible for the benefit will get assistance that covers half the cost of installing a pumpset, subject to a cap of 10 hp or a maximum of Rs. 15000/- will be the amount.
In order to avail the benefits of this program, a minimum plantation area of 2 hectares is mandatory.
Plantation assistance will be available during the second year of the programme.

Pumpset sahay yojana : Access the web page https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/ by selecting it from the search results on Google.
Once you access the Ikhedut portal, simply navigate to the option labeled as Pun5set Support Scheme.
After activating the plan, access the section labeled Horticulture Plans located in the third row.
Introducing the Horticulture Scheme, an initiative that presents a range of horticulture schemes for all to witness.
To access the website, one must click on the Apply button found in the section labeled Diesel/Electric/Petrol Pumpset – (Oilpalm HRT –6).
You will be asked if you are a registered farmer. Select Yes if you are registered and No otherwise.
Once you have successfully registered, proceed by supplying the captcha image in addition to entering your Aadhaar card and mobile number to complete the application process.
If the recipient has not completed the registration process on the Ikhedut portal, they are required to apply online and select the ‘No’ option.
Once all the necessary details are entered in the digital form, the farmer who wants to avail the benefits just needs to click the save application button.
Once the beneficiary completes the verification process and checks the details, it becomes imperative to confirm the application. It is important to note that once this is confirmed, no change or increment will be allowed for the application number.
Once the online application is submitted, the beneficiary will get an opportunity to get a printed copy.
Once the peasants get the print, they are bound to endorse and mint it.
After that, the required document must be transferred to the Ikhedut portal.
