Sankat Mochan Yojana 2024: In times of crisis, when a poor family suddenly loses a loved one and the main earner, the financial burden can become unbearable. In feelings of despair and anxiety, it is difficult to know where to turn and how to begin. Gujarat Government extends a helping hand through Sankat Mochan Sahay Yojana to lend a helping hand in such crises and provide a ray of hope in difficult times. The scheme is designed to ease the financial hardships that arise when a family’s income suddenly ends.

Sankat Mochan Sahai Yojana Gujarat | Sankat Mochan Yojana Form 2024

Sankat Mochan Sahay Yojana is a scheme launched by the Government of Gujarat to provide financial assistance to poor families. The main objective of this scheme is to ease the financial burden that arises after the death of the main breadwinner of the family.

Beneficiaries of the Scheme:
Families living below the poverty line.
Whose main earner of the family has died due to natural or accidental death.
The age of the deceased should be more than 18 years and less than 60 years.
Application must be made within two years of death.

Sankat Mochan Yojana Benefits:
The family of the deceased will be given Rs. 20,000/- financial assistance
The assistance will be credited to the beneficiary’s bank account through DBT

Jan Seva Kendra of concerned District/Taluka
Mamlatdar office
Gram Panchayat in rural areas

Death certificate of the deceased
Proof of Age of Deceased
Below Poverty Line Certificate
Copy of ration card
A book of bank account
