These are the documents required for taking a personal loan
A bank or other financial institution usually requires 3 certificates for servicing a personal loan. One is income certificate, second is identity certificate and third is address proof of Aadhaar. Lenders also ask for your last 3 months bank statement. You have to apply to the bank to take the loan. These four documents are important for salaried, businessmen or pensioners. While the documents required for NRIs are different.
Apart from income certificate, NRIs are required to submit passport, visa and a copy of Non-Resident Ordinary (NRO) and Non-Resident Account (NRE). NRIs should be in India at the time of application and should have close relatives in the country.
Documents required for salaried employees The documents required for taking a loan for salaried employees include income, address and identity proof along with some of the following documents are required to be attached with the form for the loan application process.
Proof of identity can be Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID Card, PAN Card or Driving License. A copy of your ration card, passport, rent agreement or important bills like telephone or light bill has to be submitted in addition to address proof Aadhaar, water ID and license.
Proof of Income Letter In proof of income letter you have to submit a copy of latest salary slip or income certificate. You have to submit a copy of your latest Form-16. Also a copy of your bank transaction for last 3 months has to be submitted.
Documents Required for Traders Identity Certificate – You can submit a copy of your Passport, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID Card, Driving License and PAN Card as mentioned above.
It is mandatory for a business person to deposit PAN card while applying for company or personal loan. Address Proof You can also provide a copy of your Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter ID Card or a copy of important bills or rent agreement.
Income Certificate Business people do not have salary slip, so they have to submit a copy of their latest IT return. Also they are required to submit current balance sheet, statement of income with profit and loss for the last two years, this should be certified by a chartered accountant.
A certified copy of Sole Proprietorship Declaration or Partnership Deed, Certified Original Copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association and a copy of Board Resolution are mandatory.
Documents Required for Pensioners If you are pensioner and you want a personal loan, you will need the following documents. Identity Certificate For this you have to submit a copy of Voter Identity Card, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License or Ration Card which has your photo.
You can also provide a copy of your Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter ID Card or copy of important bills or rent agreement as mentioned above for address proof. Age Certificate If you have submitted the above documents then you do not need to submit age certificate separately.
But if required you can provide birth certificate, pan card or school leaving certificate. Income certificate The latest access to pension from the organization you were affiliated to, from which you currently receive pension. Bank account transaction of last 3 months also has to be placed
Documents Required for NRIs Nationality Certificate You have to submit a copy of passport which is proof of your nationality. Address Proof You have to put a copy of your visa to prove this. Which will show that you are currently living abroad.
Income certificate While applying for a loan you have to submit the salary slip or income certificate along with the form. Also you have to provide your official e-mail id or the e-mail id of your HR team. Finally you have to provide your bank account details.
You should have an NRE or NRO account. Details of the previous 6 months have to be submitted.
