Godown Scheme Gujarat: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for Godown Scheme Gujarat are required to meet the following eligibility and norms.
Under this scheme, the farmer will have to build a godown of at least 330 square feet area in his land. The farmer can build a godown with more space at his convenience.
Masonry work is to be done in rotating walls from plinth to foundation and paved PCC work on roof.
The godown roof can be made of galvanized sheet/cement sheets or pipes. The RCC roof can be constructed by the beneficiary at his own cost as per his convenience.
The foundation should be more than 2 feet from the ground and the plinth should be made at a maximum height of 2 feet from the ground.
The height of the middle (mobha) of the roof of the godown should be 12 from the plinth level
Godowns shall have at least one door and one window.
Construction less than 300 square feet in total is not eligible for assistance.

Out of the 8 households included in the account, only one householder will be eligible to get the benefit under Godauna Yojana Gujarat 2024.

How to Apply for Godown Scheme Gujarat 2024? | Godown Yojana Gujarat 2024 Apply Online
Candidates who wish to apply under Godown Scheme Gujarat 2024 should follow the below steps step by step.
Step 1: First search the official website ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in on Google.
Step 2: Now click on Plans option.
Step 3: After that select the Agricultural Schemes option.
Step 4: Now select Crop Storage Structure (Godown) Scheme.
Step 5: Read all the necessary instructions and click on Apply option.
Step 6: Then click on yes if you have already registered earlier otherwise no.
Step 7: Now fill all the required details in the newly opened form.
Step 8: After that click on Save & Next.
Step 9: Now verify all the filled details.
Step 11: After that click on Save & Next.
Step 12: Now upload all required documents and click on Confirm.
Step 13: After receiving the application number, the applicant has to take an online printout of the application.
Godown Scheme Gujarat: Post Application Process
After applying online under godown scheme, the application is verified and approved as per the rules. The application is then communicated to the beneficiary. Only after receiving such approval, the construction process for the godown is started. After the construction is completed as per the norms set by the Agriculture Department, the subsidy amount is deposited in the farmer’s account after submitting all the documents including the online application for subsidy assistance at the office of the District Agriculture Officer along with the necessary documents.
