Chiranjeevi Yojana was started in 2005. Under this scheme, no woman in a family living below the poverty line should face financial or social hardship during childbirth, the government will provide Rs.200/- for health expenses, Rs.30/- for travel expenses and financial assistance of Rs. is assisted.
