Objective of the scheme Who will benefit?
Housing is to be provided in a phased manner as a time-bound program to the economically weaker sections of the Scheduled Castes and especially the homeless living below the poverty line. Individuals having open plot, totally raw mud, grass shed, Kuba type house which is not habitable will benefit.
Eligibility for benefit
Should not have been availed by the beneficiary or other family members of the beneficiary under any other housing scheme implemented by the Govt.
Annual income should not exceed ₹.1,20,000 in rural area and ₹.1,50,000 in urban area.
The amount of building assistance will be ₹.1,20,000. In addition, those who are eligible for assistance of ₹.12,000 for toilets will be eligible separately as per the rules of the scheme. But, if the beneficiary is not eligible for toilet assistance, he/she will have to construct the toilet out of the mandatory assistance of ₹.1,20,000.
On the building constructed under this scheme, the beneficiary has to put up a plaque as per “State Government’s Ambedkar Awas Yojana”.
The upper limit for building construction will be ₹.10,00,000 for urban areas and ₹.7,00,000 for rural areas. The above ceiling limit will not apply to the assistance provided under Affordable Housing Scheme in urban areas
The construction of the house has to be completed within 2 years from the payment of the first installment of the building assistance.
The age of the beneficiary will be at least 21 years.
Ambedkar Awas Yojana assistance amount details are as follows.
Further, those who are eligible for assistance of ₹.12,000 for toilets will be separately eligible as per scheme rules. But, if the beneficiary is not eligible for assistance for toilet, he/she has to construct the toilet from the mandatory assistance of ₹.1,20,000.

Online Application Process
Browser (among Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox) to open the e-Samaj Kalyan portal
Open any one) and type https://esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in/
Click on the Please Register Here link to register on the e-Samaj Kalyan portal.
After clicking the Register button, a window will open in which your name, gender, date of birth and
Fill in the caste information.
After registration, your UserID and Password will be sent to your mobile number via SMS
will be sent. (If Email ID information is written then mail will also be sent)
Login by filling the details of your UserID and Password and Captcha Code to login
Click on the button.
After logging in for the first time, other personal details of the applicant have to be filled.
Fill the personal information related to the scheme in the website.
To view the details of your application click on View Application in that application online

How to Check Application Status (Process)
Click on View Application Status button to know the status of your application.
Then enter your application number.
Enter your date of birth.
Then finally click on View Status button and see the correct status of your application.
