Ambedkar Awas Yojana Ambedkar Awas Yojana: Many families in Gujarat are homeless and do not have their own solid and livable house. So the state government is providing assistance of ₹ 1,20,000 to the Scheduled Caste people for building a house under the Ambedkar Awas Yojana. This assistance is given in total three installments.
Benefits are provided to Scheduled Caste citizens under Directorate Scheduled Caste Welfare Department. Dr Ambedkar Awas Yojana is provided to the homeless belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) caste, having open plot or not having habitable house. Under this scheme assistance is provided for building.

Ambedkar Awas Yojana provides an assistance of ₹ 1,20,00 to the Scheduled Caste people living in Gujarat to construct a house. This amount is paid in three installments. A good house can be built with this amount. Also the house is available for free. The benefit of this scheme is the benefit of the cleaning workers as well as those who have a mud house.
Objective of Ambedkar Awas Yojana Scheme
Housing is to be provided in a phased manner as a time-bound program to the economically weaker sections of the Scheduled Castes and especially the homeless living below the poverty line.
Also, the government is giving assistance of 1,20,000 to those who are homeless and have open plots to build a house. This assistance is paid in 3 installments. In this scheme, the first installment is 40,000 and the second installment is 60,000. Also the third installment of 20,000 is given. Thus a total of 1,20,000 is given.
Who can benefit from Ambedkar Awas Yojana?
There are certain eligibility requirements to get the benefit of Ambedkar Awas Yojana which are as follows:
Applicant should be a resident of Gujarat.
This scheme can be availed only by economically weaker persons belonging to Scheduled Castes.
The age of the applicant should be at least 21 years.
Annual income should not exceed ₹.600,000 in rural area and ₹.600,000 in urban area.
The applicant has to write the name and personal information in the application according to his certificates.
After submitting the application online, the applicant has to deposit two copies of the application in the Zilla Panchayat.
If the beneficiary has availed this type of scheme earlier then the application will be rejected.
After the house is completely built, the Ambedkar Awas Yojana plaque should be compulsorily installed.
After receiving the second installment of housing assistance, the beneficiary will have to complete the housing work within one year.
Ambedkar Awas Yojana benefits available
The following benefits will be available under Ambedkar Awas Yojana:
Beneficiaries will get their own fixed house under this scheme.
A total assistance of 1,20,000 will be available for building a house.
This amount will be paid in three installments.
The first installment of 40,000, the second installment of 60,000 and the third installment of 20,000 will be paid.
Thus, the total assistance will be 1,20,000.
Among them, the first installment is given with the order of administrative approval, then the second installment after reaching the lintel level and the third installment after the completion of the work including toilets.
First 40,000 then 60,000 and lastly 20,000 is given.

Follow the steps below to avail Ambedkar Awas Yojana:
First open the website https://esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in to fill the form.
After that click on “New Registration” to create a new account.
All information has to be filled and submitted.
After that Id and password will come in your mobile and you have to login.
After login all the schemes will be opened then click on Ambedkar Awas Yojana.
After that all your information has to be filled.
After filling the information, the document has to be uploaded.
After uploading the document, the application has to be saved in Last.
Application is to be submitted after saving the application.
After submitting the application, the application number will be sent to your mobile.
After that the application has to be printed.
