Gujarat Government has launched Namo e-Tablet Yojana with the aim of promoting technological education among students. Under this scheme, eligible students enrolled in the first year of graduation or polytechnic courses in government recognized educational institutions are given tablets at a nominal fee of Rs 1000. Educational materials such as e-textbooks, recorded video lectures, e-books and other learning materials are already available in tablets.

Gujarat Namo e-Tablet Scheme Eligibility:

Administered by the Education Department with the Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat as the implementing agency, the scheme benefits students with a family income of less than Rs 1,00,000.
