To promote this, the animal husbandry department also provides financial assistance to the animal husbandry of the state.
Under this scheme it is very important to increase the productivity of cows or buffaloes and increase the milk production in a sustainable manner. The government of Gujarat has taken this important decision for the cattle rearers to become more economically prosperous. Government of Gujarat will provide assistance of Rs 20,000/- per pregnancy to animal husbandry for conception through IVF in cattle.
Purpose of the scheme
Under this scheme, the aim is to provide financial assistance to the cattle rearers of the state. It is very important to provide economic support to the herdsmen by increasing the productivity of their cows or buffaloes and increasing the milk production in a sustainable manner. In view of which, assistance of Rs. 20,000/- per pregnancy will be given to the cattle breeders of the state for conception through IVF in cattle.
Eligibility of Beneficiary under this Scheme
This assistance will be given to the animal husbandry by the Gujarat government. There are certain eligibility criteria for availing this assistance, which are as follows:
The applicant should belong to the state of Gujarat.
Animal Husbandry Beneficiary should own animals.
In case of joint account the farmers will be entitled to benefit from only one of the holders mentioned in ikhedut 8-A.
Must have pregnant animals.
What are the benefits of IVF fertilization in cattle?
Under this scheme, the government will provide assistance to animal husbandry for getting pregnant through IVF in cows or buffaloes. The state government has started providing financial assistance to animal husbandry for IVF (In Vitro Fertilization). The estimated cost of impregnating cattle through IVF method is around ₹ 21,000/-.
For this, assistance of ₹ 5,000 by the Government of India, ₹ 5,000 by the State Government, ₹ 5,000 by the GCMF and ₹ 5,000 by the District Milk Union up to a total of ₹ 20,000/- is available.
Animal IVF Assistance Scheme Required Documents | Required document
The scheme is run by the Department of Animal Husbandry. To avail the benefit of this scheme online application has to be done from I Khedut portal. For which the following documents are required:
Copy of Aadhaar card of farmer
Copy of canceled cheque
Bank account passbook
Must be registered with Milk Producers Association in Ga.
Animal should be registered.

Cattle breeders have to apply online through IKhedoot portal to avail the benefit of this scheme. After that, the applicant has to take a print out of the application and keep it with him. For more information on this scheme contact your local Gram Sevak, Extension Officer (Agriculture) at Taluka level or “Zilla Pashupalan Adhikari Shri” at District level.

If the farmer has registered on the portal, then “Captach Image” has to be entered after entering the Aadhaar card number and mobile number.
If the beneficiary farmer is not registered on the iKhedoot portal, then online application has to be done by selecting “No”.
The farmer beneficiary has to click on “Save Application” after verifying the complete information in the aid scheme for IVF conception in cattle of the state.

“Application Confirm” has to be done after completely verifying the information filled online in this scheme.
There will be no correction or increment in the “Application Number” once the beneficiary has “confirmed” the online application.
After making the “Online Application” the applicant has to print based on the application.
The application should be printed and given to the Gram Sevak of your area and the concerned Taluk Extension Officer (Horticulture) after affixing the necessary signatures and stamps along with the document.
