Aadhaar card and its services are increasing day by day in India. Aadhar Card Update Online services are being done. At that time, UIDAI has requested the Aadhaar card holders to update the citizens whose card is more than ten years old. This Aadhaar card can be updated both online and offline.

According to a leading media report of the country, Deputy Commissioner DC Rana has appealed that ten-year-old Aadhaar card holders should get their Aadhaar updated. Aadhar update process can be done by visiting their nearest Aadhaar center. After registration of 0 to 5 year old children by Hon.Deputy Commissioner they should also get updated. The importance of biometric update for children was emphasized.

UIDAI appealed to update Aadhaar.

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has advised that people who have an Aadhar Card that is 10 years old have been advised to update all their details. Also advised to update their Aadhaar proof, address proof and mobile number details.

Updating Aadhaar is not mandatory.

UIDAI has further clarified that it is not mandatory for citizens to do so. However, it further said, “Individuals who issued their Aadhaar card ten years ago and never updated it in ten years thereafter. All such citizens are requested to update their Aadhaar number.

UIDAI has announced that Aadhar card can be updated both online and offline. To update Aadhaar Online one has to visit My Aadhar Portal. Alternatively, citizens can do this by visiting the nearest Aadhaar center.
