Various schemes are run by the Gujarat government with the aim of helping the economically weaker sections of the society. In which the benefit of Sankat Mochan Yojana or National Family Support Yojana is provided by the Social Security Department in case of death of the main earner of the family living below poverty line (BPL) due to natural or accidental causes and to help the family by providing financial assistance in this sudden calamity/difficulty situation. This scheme is also known as National Family Benefit Scheme (NFBS).

How to Apply Sankat Mochan Yojana
To do Sankat Mochan Yojana Online by the Government of Gujarat, the operation of online application from the Digital Gujarat Portal Website has been started at Gram Panchayat.
Online form has to be filled on Digital Gujarat portal (Digital Gujarat login) from VCE at Gram Panchayat. To avail the benefits under Sankat Mochan Yojana, one has to apply online through Digital Gujarat Portal from VCE (Village Computer Entrepreneur) at each Gram Panchayat.
Online application has to be done on Digital Gujarat Portal with “Computer Operator of Social Security Office” at Taluka Mamlatdar Office.
