In Manav Kalyan Yojana, the economically backward and poor sections are provided with tools and equipment for hard work to generate livelihood and income.
This Manav Kalyan Yojana has been launched by the government to help the economically backward and poor people/artisans to improve their economic condition. In this scheme, vegetable sellers, tailors, blacksmiths etc. 28 trades are very useful for the people of the weaker sections of the society who are doing small trades/businesses.
Purpose of Manav Kalyan Yojana
Individuals who are willing to start small businesses should be provided with self-employment business-friendly kits and can start their business easily or generate income better from their ongoing work.
Eligibility and Criteria for Manav Kalyan Scheme
1) Age : People between 16 to 60 years can apply in this scheme and can get necessary tools/equipment assistance for business or employment.
2) Income limit: People living in rural areas should be included in the list of District Rural Development Department, beneficiaries need not submit proof of income or whose family annual income is Rs.120000/- for rural areas and urban areas. So people who have upto Rs.150000/- can avail this scheme. It is mandatory for such people to provide proof of income from Mamlatdar Kachari or Taluka Mamlatdar Officer.

How to apply online for Manav Kalyan Yojana?
Step 1 : First of all you have to go to satavar website https://e-kutir.gujarat.gov.in/.
Step 2: After that you have to register on that portal. You have to click on For New Individual Registration. All the details have to be filled in it.
Step 3: After registration, id password will be sent to your email id and then you have to login.
Step 4: After login you have to fill all the details.
Step 5: After filling all the details you have to submit the form and then print the application.
