Due to the arrival of monsoon in Gujarat, the farmers are very happy. Now monsoon rains are falling in the state. As per forecast, heavy rainfall is predicted in South Gujarat. Along with this, heavy rain is also predicted in Saurashtra and Kutch. Meteorologist Ambalal Patel has made an important forecast regarding monsoon in Gujarat. Ambalal Patel said that Monsoon will become active in Gujarat in the next 24 hours. Temet Monsoon will welcome more parts of Gujarat from June 25.

Monsoon has officially started in Gujarat

Monsoon has officially started in Gujarat, while 154 talukas have experienced rain in 24 hours. Umargam recorded the highest rainfall of more than 5 inches. When we talk about 48 hours, water bomb situation has been seen in Umargam with 11 inches of rain. In 24 hours, 2 inches to four and a half inches of rain has been recorded in 20 taluks. Even today, rainy weather has prevailed in Gujarat since morning amid cloudy weather. Rain has been recorded in 31 talukas this morning, the highest being 29 mm in Surat’s Mahuva, 24 mm in Mahisagar’s Kadana, while South Gujarat has been declared a yellow alert by the Meteorological Department.

Heavy rain is predicted without wind for the next 5 days

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rains have been predicted in Surat, Bharuch, Dang, Tapi Saurashtra-Kutch and normal to moderate rains in Ahmedabad. There are chances of heavy rains in South Gujarat. Heavy rains are also predicted in Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Narmada, Dang, Bharuch, and Tapi. While the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in Gujarat for the next 5 days, it is also being predicted that the rains will be heavier over South Gujarat.

Light rain may occur in North Gujarat

Rain will also start in Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Banaskantha, Gandhinagar districts from Tuesday. Light rain may occur in these districts of North Gujarat on Tuesday. Heavy rain is not expected in these areas on Tuesday. There may be light rain here in the coming days.

Heavy rain may fall till June 30

Even though the monsoon has not officially started in Gujarat yet, its cycles have been set in motion. Heavy rain is likely to occur in Gujarat for the next five days, including in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Mehsana and Godhra. Weather experts have indicated the possibility of heavy rain on 28, 29 and 30 June. Meanwhile, scattered rain has been reported in 59 talukas of the state this morning. Among which 2 to 3 inches of rain fell in Jambughoda, Godhra, Vadodara, Desar, Anand, Kalol and Halol of Panchmahal.

Chance of moderate to moderate rain showers in Ahmedabad

Rainy conditions will remain in Gujarat as cyclonic circulation and rain system become active in the state. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in the state for the next five days, with heavy rainfall especially in Saurashtra and South Gujarat. Heavy rain is likely in Bharuch, Surat, Valsad, Navsari, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli.. Bhavnagar, Amreli, Rajkot, Gir-Somnath in Saurashtra are also likely to receive heavy rain. The Meteorological Department has predicted moderate to moderate rain showers in Ahmedabad.

The highest rainfall of 10 inches fell in Umargam. 4 inches of rain fell in Vapi. Incessant rains in the hills of Kaprad created delightful scenes. Dharampur received 1 inch and Pardi 2 inches of rain. Valsad and Dharampur received an inch of rain.
