Get detailed information about AnnaBrahm Yojana run by Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs. In today’s article we will get information about National Food Security Scheme. A scheme is providing food and nutrition security to people to live with dignity. Under this scheme, 15 kg of wheat and 20 kg of rice per card will be given to the families of Atyodaya Anna Yojana every month for a total of 35 kg. Grains are provided. Also 2 kg per person per month to the members of “priority families”. wheat and 3 kg. Total 5 kg of rice. Grains are provided.

To provide food and nutrition security for people to live with dignity by ensuring access to adequate quantities of quality food at affordable prices in a human life cycle approach.
Eligibility of Beneficiary to avail the benefit of the scheme:
If you have the following eligibility criteria to avail National Food Security Yojana then you can avail this scheme.
All cardholders under “Antyodaya Ann Yojana-AAY”
“Priority Households-PHH”
Eligible benefits under the scheme
The benefits eligible under the scheme are as follows.
1) To families of Atyodaya Anna Yojana
15 kg of wheat and 20 kg of rice per card per month totaling 35 kg. Food grains provided, (Ending July-2024)
2) To members of “priority families”.
2 kg per person per month. wheat and 3 kg. Total 5 kg of rice. Food grains provided, (Ending July-2024)
3) Under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana by the Government of India under the National Food Security Act 2013, food grains will be distributed free of cost to eligible families from January 2024 to December 2024.
Evidence to be submitted to avail the benefit of the scheme:
Self-attested copy of Aadhaar card of all family members has to be given.
Copy of proof of residence
In case of ownership, to submit an up-to-date copy of any one of the assessment sheet/property tax receipt/property card/light bill.
In case of rent, submit an up-to-date copy of either the rent agreement or the consent of the landlord along with the rent receipt.
Providing copy of Election ID Card is voluntary.
Mobile numbers of any one member of the family
Providing copy of first page of bank passbook of senior woman/key person. In which account number, IFSC CODE number comes
