Sat Fera Group Marriage Scheme 2023: Government will provide assistance of Rs 75000 under the scheme
Sat Fera Group Marriage Yojana 2023 : A scheme is being implemented by the Government of Gujarat to pay assistance to newlyweds for the marriage of young men and women belonging to Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) and Economically Weaker Classes (OBC) of the state of Gujarat. Mameru Yojana of Kuvarambai is also run by Sarkarshree.
Sat Fera Group Marriage Scheme 2023
The Sat Fera Group Marriage Scheme is implemented by the Director Vikshati Jati Kalyan under the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. Socially and Economically Backward Class (SEBC) and Economically Weaker Class (OBC) benefit under this scheme. Apart from this, assistance is paid to the newlyweds and to the organization organizing the wedding for the marriage of the young man and the young woman. If the girl is eligible under Kunvarbai’s Mameru Yojana, Sat Fera Group Marriage Yojana and Kunvarbai’s Mameru Yojana are thus eligible for both the schemes.
Eligibility to avail the benefit of Sat Fera Group Marriage Scheme
There are certain eligibility criteria to avail this scheme. Which are as follows.
Income Limit Standard 6,00,000/-
A minimum of 10 newlywed couples must be organized by the organizing organization to avail the benefit of this scheme.
The benefit of this scheme is available to socially and educationally backward classes as well as economically backward classes (natives of the state of Gujarat).
The age limit of the girl at the time of marriage should be 18 years and the age of the youth should be 21 years.
Benefits available under this scheme
An incentive amount of Rs.12,000/- is given to newly married couples belonging to socially and educationally backward classes and economically backward classes and Rs.3000/- per couple (up to a maximum of Rs.75,000/-) per couple to the organizing body.
The assistance of the scheme is available for women in seven Fera Group Scheduled Districts.
Beneficiary girls participating in mass marriages are eligible for benefit under both the schemes if they fulfill all the conditions of Satfera Mass Marriage Yojana and Kunvarbai Mother Yojana.
