Divyang Bus Pass Yojana
Under Divyang Bus Pass Yojana Gujarat ST Bus Pass Yojana is in effect for Divyang persons. In which all disabled persons of Gujarat will be given the benefit of free bus pass travel under the scheme to go to study, treatment, job, place of business or any other place from any place (any place in the state of Gujarat).
Benefits available under Divyang Bus Pass Yojana
Under the Divyang Bus Pass Yojana, disabled persons will be provided pass facility to travel from any place in the state of Gujarat on the basis of disability.

Assistance admissible on the basis of disability under Divyang Bus Pass Yojana

| Low Vision | Those with 40 percent or more disability will get the benefit. And a person with 80 percent or more visual impairment and his assistant will be eligible for free travel. |

| Leprosy Cured Person | Those with 40 percent or more disability will get the benefit. And a person with 80 percent or more visual impairment and his assistant will be eligible for free travel. |
| Locomotors Disability | Those with 40 percent or more disability will get the benefit. And a person with 80 percent or more visual impairment and his assistant will be eligible for free travel. |
| Acid Attack Victim | Those with 40 percent or more disability will get the benefit. |
| Multiple sclerosis – body tissues | Those with 40 percent or more disability will get the benefit. And a person with 80 percent or more visual impairment and his assistant will be eligible for free travel. |

| Cerebral Pals | A person with 40 percent or more disability will be eligible for free travel for himself and his assistant. |
| Common Injury/Malignant Bleeding (Hemophilia) | Those with 40 percent or more disability will get the benefit. |
| Chronic Neurological Condition | Those with 40 percent or more disability will get the benefit. And A person with 80 percent or more visual impairment and his assistant will be eligible for free travel. |
| Parkinson’s Disability | Those with 40 percent or more disability will get the benefit. And A person with 80 percent or more visual impairment and his assistant will be eligible for free travel. |
| Intellectual Disability | A person with 40 percent or more disability and their assistant will be eligible for free travel. |
| Chronic Anemia (Sickle Cell Disease) | Those with 40 percent or more disability will get the benefit. |
| Thelassemia | Those with 40 percent or more disability will get the benefit. And a person with 80 percent or more visual impairment and his assistant will be eligible for free travel. |
| Mental illness | A person with 40 percent or more disability will be eligible for free travel and his assistant will be entitled to 50 percent concession in ticket fare and a person with 80 percent or more disability and his assistant will be eligible for free travel. |
| Speech and Language | Those with 40 percent or more disability will get the benefit. |
| Specific Learning Disabilities | Those with 40 percent or more disability will get the benefit. |
| Hearing Impairment | Those with 40 percent or more disability will get the benefit. And a person with 80 percent or more visual impairment and his assistant will be eligible for free travel. |
| Multiple Disabilities | A person with 40 percent or more disability will be eligible for free travel for himself and his assistant. |
| Autism Spectrum Disorder | A person with a disability of 40 percent or more is entitled to free travel and A person with 80% or more disability and his assistant shall be entitled to 50% concession in ticket fare and free travel to his assistant. |
Eligibility for Divyang Bus Pass Yojana
The person who wants to avail the benefit under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Loan Yojana should comply with this eligibility, only then the benefit of this scheme will be availed.
1. Divyang should be a permanent resident of Gujarat state.
2. 40% or more with 21 types of disabilities should be disabled.
3. Income standard has been canceled by Govt.
Required Documents for Divyang Bus Pass Yojana
1. A certificate showing percentage of doctor to specialist in that department.
2. 2 (two) recent stamp size photographs along with the application form.
3. Xerox copy of ration card.
4. Evidence of permanent residence of Gujarat State.
5. Example of blood group
6. The application form can be obtained free of cost from the District Social Security Office.
7. The application form has to be submitted to the District Social Security Office.
8. Attested copy of applicant’s bank passbook.
9. Attested copy of applicant’s Aadhaar Card.
Regarding issuance or cancellation of duplicate card in case of loss of Divyang Identity Card
If under any circumstances the travel pass of a disabled person is lost or the travel pass has to be cancelled, then you can follow the procedure given below.
1. Divyang Identity Card will be recovered after application due to loss.
2. Duplicate card is deleted by depositing the canceled ID card in the office.
