This Shramyogi Education Assistance Scheme has been launched by the Gujarat Building and Construction Shramyogi Kalyan Board to provide educational assistance to the children of needy construction workers engaged in the construction profession from primary school to higher education (PhD).

What is Shramyogi Education Assistance Scheme?
This scheme has been started by the Gujarat Building and Construction Labor Welfare Board to provide educational assistance to the children of the needy construction workers involved in the construction business in the state who have progressed in higher studies and education to become doctors, engineers.

Construction workers registered with Shramyogi Kalyan Board will be eligible to benefit from this scheme.
The construction worker has to apply online within the prescribed time limit.
If only two children of a construction worker are eligible for assistance. They have to fill separate online forms for both the children.
The age of the children of the construction worker should be maximum 30 years. If the son or daughter is mute or disabled then the age limit will not apply.
Which will be limited to the first trial in that academic year. If a student fails in a class, he will not be eligible for assistance again in the same class or grade.
Children studying in Open University will not be eligible for this assistance.
The applicant must fill the complete correct information while filling the online form otherwise his application may be cancelled.

Following are the benefits available for Shram Yogi Accidental Death Benefit Scheme.
30,000 will be provided for children of construction workers to study from primary school to higher education (PhD).

Following are the documents required for Shramyogi Shiksha Sahai Yojana.
Bonafide certificate of ongoing course of the student
aadhar card
Bank passbook or canceled cheque
Student’s last year result
Receipt of payment of school or college fees
In case of assistance of Rs 5000 or more then affidavit and related form has to be filled
How to apply online for the scheme? – Apply Online For Yojana Gujarat
Applicant can apply online by visiting https://sanman.gujarat.gov.in/ website.
First you have to register. And you will get id password.
In the registration you will be asked the details of the construction worker to be filled. And click on Create button.
After that you have to login through ID password.
Then you have to click on Education Aid/PhD Scheme.
Now you will see information and rules about the scheme and click on Accept button after reading it.
Then click on Apply button.
Then you have to fill Personal Details in which details of Labor Identity Card, student information and address have to be written. And click Save button.
Then you have to fill the Scheme Details in which the study details have to be filled.
Then you have to upload the documents.
After uploading the documents you have to read the rules and I agree with all the above terms. Select and click Save button.
Now that your application has been submitted and you will have received the application number, you can check the status of your application by saving it.
