Purpose of Support Scheme for Aromatic Crops
Farmers in Gujarat now grow aromatic crops as cash crops. A special scheme has been released by the Horticulture Department for this. The scheme aims to provide assistance to farmers who have planted aromatic crops.
Eligibility of the candidate to avail the scheme
Some eligibility of support scheme for other aromatic crops has been determined. Which are as follows.
The scheme is available to General, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe farmers.
A farmer can take the benefit of this scheme only once.
A limit of 4 hectares per farmer beneficiary has been kept.
Planting material should be procured from NHB accredited/Agri Uni/Horticulture department nurseries.
For tissue culture planting material (seedlings), planting material should be procured from Government Public Enterprise Institutions like Tissue Lab, GNFC, GSFC, Tissue Lab of Agricultural University approved/accredited by DBT.
Good quality seeds should be purchased from the authorized dealer of the seed manufacturer.
Documents required for availing aromatic crops
One has to apply online to avail assistance scheme for other aromatic crops running on I khedut portal. For which the following farmer beneficiary should have documents.
Copy of 7/12 Land of Farmer (Anyror Gujarat)
Copy of Aadhaar Card
Caste certificate if farmer beneficiary belongs to SC caste
Caste certificate if farmer beneficiary belongs to ST caste
Copy of ration card
If the farmer is disabled, certificate of disability
Copy of forest rights letter (if any) if beneficiary belongs to tribal area
Consent form of other farmer in case of joint tenant in 7-12 and 8-A land of agriculture
Details of soul registration with beneficiary, if any
Details if member of Co-operative Society (if applicable)
Information if member of milk producer association (if applicable only)

How to apply to avail the scheme?
If you also want to avail assistance for other aromatic crops, you have to apply by following the steps below.
First open the official website of Ikhedut.
Then click on “Plan” appearing on Home Page.
After that you have to click on “Horticulture Schemes”.
In which click on ‘Apply’ on number-2 “Assistance Scheme for Other Aromatic Crops”.
If you have done Online Registration then enter Aadhaar Card and Mobile Number.
If the beneficiary has not registered on i-khedut portal then select ‘NO’.
Now click on ‘Click to Apply New’.
After filling the information, click on the Save Application option.
Note that once the application is confirmed, there will be no correction or increase in the application.
