A subsidy scheme has been launched by the government for the farmers of Gujarat to buy tractors and there are some conditions to avail the scheme which are as follows:
To avail the tractor assistance scheme, the farmer must first purchase a tractor.
A farmer must have a land record.
If the farmer resides in a forest area, he must have a valid tribal birth certificate.
The farmer has to get the subsidy only for the purpose of buying the tractor.
Benefits available for Tractor Subsidy Sahay Yojana
Following are the benefits available for Tractor Subsidy Assistance Scheme. Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe farmers will be eligible for 50 percent of the total cost or Rs.60,000, whichever is less, on the purchase of tractors.
General and general category farmers will be eligible for 40 percent of the total cost or 45,000 thousand whichever is less on the purchase of tractor.
So to take this assistance, the farmer is given assistance on the purchase of tractor.

How to Apply Online for Farmer Tractor Assistance Scheme?
To apply for Tractor Sahay Yojana, a farmer can apply online by visiting the VCE of the Gram Panchayat or can also apply in person. Follow the steps below to apply-
First is to go to Google and write I-Khedut. After opening this website the following page will open
One has to click on the above photo where it says apply in various schemes.
After that the above page will open and the district has to be selected and submitted
As above all the plans will be seen and tractor plan has to be selected from them.
Click on apply accordingly, then all the application forms will open and you have to apply.
After that you will be asked, Are you a registered candidate? Yes or No if you have registered.
After that click on apply new and the application form will open.
After that the farmer has to submit the application by entering the complete information.
After submitting the application for Tractor Subsidy Assistance Scheme an application number will be generated and the application number has to be recorded in a safe place.
After that application has to be submitted from that application number.
The online form has to be filled and printed after submitting the application.
