It is very important to provide self-employment opportunities to educated youths/girls, disabled people in rural and urban areas of Gujarat state. An important objective of Shri Bajpai Bankable Yojana is to promote cottage industries. vajpayee bankable yojana has been implemented for the purpose of getting loans at very low rates so that citizens can start their own independent business and become self-reliant. Under the VBY scheme, the beneficiaries will get loans in the industry, service and trade sectors. And subsidy is also available on this.
Eligibility Criteria of Vajpayee Bankable Scheme
The scheme is run by the Commissioner of Cottage and Rural Industries. The Shri Bajpai Bankable Yojana has set certain eligibility criteria for who is assisted. Which is given below.
Should be a citizen of Gujarat state.
Beneficiary should have educational qualification of at least standard-4.
Age of applying beneficiary should be 18 to 65 years.
The beneficiary should have at least 3 months of training from a private institution relevant to the business or profession for which the loan is to be taken.
Beneficiary will be eligible to avail this scheme even if he has undergone 1 month training from a government recognized institute.
An applicant with 1 year of business related experience will also be considered.
The benefit of the scheme will be available even if the beneficiary himself is a legacy artisan.
Disabled or blind citizens can also benefit from this scheme.
Under this scheme applicant can get loan through vajpayee bankable yojana bank list like nationalized banks, cooperative bank, public sector banks, private bank.

- School Leaving Certificate (LC)
- Passport size photograph
- Election card
- Beneficiary’s Aadhaar Card (Download Aadhaar Card)
- Certificate of Birth Registration
- Marksheet of Educational Qualification (Last Marksheet)
- Certificate of Competent Authority regarding Caste (For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Caste)
- Certificate from Civil Surgeon/Competent Authority of percentage of disability in case of 40% or more disabled beneficiaries
- Certificate of training / experience acquired by the applicant.
- Attach the original price list with VAT/TIN number of the equipment to be purchased.
- Proof of fixed place of business. (Lease Agreement / Rent Deed / Access to House Tax)
- If electricity is to be consumed, the electric bill of the building and the consent form of the building owner

A new online portal for Bankable Loan Registration has been launched by the Finance Department of the Government of Gujarat. Online application of various schemes can be done through this Bankable Scheme Portal. First you have to type Bankable Scheme Portal in Google Search.
Where you will find the official website of Finance Department in Google Search Result.
From which you have to open https://blp.gujarat.gov.in/.
After opening the official website, click on “Bankable Loan Registration”.
Click on “REGISTER” if you have not registered online before on this portal.
After clicking on Register, now you have to proceed further by entering Mobile Number and Captcha Code.
Then the beneficiary has to complete the registration procedure by entering Name, Email Id, Password and Captcha Code.
After successful registration by the beneficiary click on Citizen Login.
In which you have to login through mobile number and password.
After logging in to the Bankable Scheme Portal, a “New Application” has to be done.
Now you have to apply online by selecting “Shree Vajpayee Bankable Yojana”.
