Gujarat Cyclone:- Pre-monsoon activity is currently being seen in Gujarat. Heavy to very heavy winds are blowing in many parts of Gujarat. The weather department has predicted wind speed of 30 to 40 km for the next 5 days. At present, wind is blowing in many parts of the state as if there is a mini storm. Due to strong winds, trees and roofs and electricity poles are also collapsing in many areas. According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation is likely to activate in the Arabian Sea on June 5. Apart from this, a cyclonic system is also likely to activate in the Bay of Bengal.

As per forecast of weather expert Ambalal Patel, cyclone will be active in Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal. According to him, the cyclone will become active in the Arabian Sea on June 7, on the other hand, there are chances of the cyclone becoming active in the Bay of Bengal on June 11. He said that the system will be activated in the Arabian Sea. Due to this there are chances of rain in many parts of the state between June 8 to 11.

There are chances of rain in the state from 15th to 16th June. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in many areas of North and Central Gujarat. Areas of North Gujarat are likely to receive 5 inches of rain or more. On the other hand, there are chances of heavy to very heavy rains in the southern coastal areas of Saurashtra. It is currently being speculated that the status of the storm in the Arabian Sea can be confirmed only after it becomes active.
