Dragon Fruit Farming Scheme. Farmers of Gujarat will get Rs. 3 lakhs will be provided.
Gujarat government has made a big announcement for dragon fruit farmers. State Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel said that a total of Rs. 1000 lakhs will be given to the farmers who are planting Kamalam fruit i.e. Dragonfruit and Rs. 650 lakhs will be given to the farmers under Comprehensive Horticulture Development. Farmers are starting to plant. Gujarat government also provides subsidy to farmers for planting dragon fruit. Through this article we will get complete information about Dragon Fruit Farming Scheme.
Eligibility of the Scheme
The beneficiary farmer should belong to Gujarat state.
Small, marginal farmers of Gujarat state will benefit from these schemes.
Farmers who have land or forest rights records will benefit.
Farmers will get the benefit of this scheme only once.
This assistance will be given to ST, SC, Economically Weaker, OBC and General category people.
Support Scheme for Dragon Fruit Cultivation Standard of support available
Unit Cost:- Rs. 6,00,000/ha assistance to general caste farmer at 50% or a maximum of Rs. 3,00,000/- whichever is less the assistance shall be admissible.
Beneficiary will be eligible for lifetime assistance within the limit of 0.20 hectares to a maximum of 1 hectare.
Under this scheme in the first year for one hectare area total 1111 nos of cement pole/pipe as per maximum cost- Rs. 3,33,000/- to be considered. While the maximum cost for planting material per hectare is 4444 saplings- Rs. 1,55,540/- to be considered. 50 percent of the total expenditure incurred in the first year or a maximum of Rs. 2,44,420/- whichever is less the assistance will be admissible.
In the second year, the maximum cost of 1111 head rings or 400 kg of trellising and wire for one hectare area – Rs. 1,11,160/- to be considered. 50 percent of the total expenditure incurred in head ring/ trellising in the second year or a maximum of Rs. 55,580/- whichever is less the assistance will be admissible.

How to Apply Dragon Fruit Assistance Scheme Online
To apply under this scheme first to maintain on the official website of iKhead portal.
Click on your plans Horticulture Click on plans Horticulture.
As soon as you click on the horticulture plan, the list below opens the question. In which to ask click on Apply for Dragonfruit Agriculture Assistance.
A new page has opened. Click Yes if you are a registered farmer and No if you are not a registered farmer Selector to proceed.
Now in the open page in front of you click on Apply New. In which you click on update application after filling your general details.
After updating the application click on confirm application.
After confirming the application click on print application.
The printed application has to be signed and copied. Just upload this copy again. Along with it visits the above group documents upload.
