If the herdsmen are experiencing difficulty in conceiving their cows or buffaloes or other animals, then a solution has been found. Cattle breeders can conceive through IVF technology. To promote this, financial assistance is given to the animal husbandry of the state by the animal husbandry department.
It is very important to increase the productivity of cows and buffaloes through this scheme and increase milk production in a sustainable manner. The Gujarat government has taken an important decision to make the animal husbandry more economically prosperous. Government of Gujarat will provide assistance of Rs 20,000/- per pregnancy to animal husbandry for conception through IVF in cattle.

The aim is to provide financial assistance to the animal husbandry of the state. It is very important for cattle breeders to increase the productivity of their cows or buffaloes and increase the milk production in a sustainable manner to make the farmers economically viable. In view of which, assistance of Rs 20,000/- per pregnancy will be provided to the cattle breeders of the state for conception through IVF in cattle.
Eligibility of Beneficiary under this Scheme
This assistance will be provided to the cattle rearers by the state of Gujarat. There are certain eligibility criteria for availing this assistance. Which are as follows.
Applicant should be from Gujarat state.
Animal Husbandry Beneficiary should own animals.
In case of joint account the farmers will be entitled to benefit from only one of the holders mentioned in ikhedut 8-A.
Must have pregnant animals.
What are the benefits of IVF fertilization in cattle?
Under this scheme, the government will provide assistance to animal husbandry for conception through IVF in cows or buffaloes. The state government has started providing financial assistance to animal husbandry for IVF (In Vitro Fertilization). The estimated cost of insemination in cattle through IVF method is Rs. 21,000/- is done.
For this, Rs.5 thousand by the Government of India, Rs.5 thousand by the State Government, Rs.5 thousand by the GCMMF and Rs.5 thousand by the J-Te district milk union, a total of Rs. Assistance up to 20,000/- is available.
Documents Required for Animal IVF Assistance Scheme
The scheme is run by the Department of Animal Husbandry. To avail this scheme online application has to be done from I-Khedut portal. For which the following documents will be required.
Copy of Aadhaar card of farmer
Copy of canceled cheque
Bank account passbook
Must be registered with Milk Producers Association in Ga.
Animal should be registered.

How To Online Apply Animal IVF Financial Assistance Scheme
Cattle breeders have to apply online through the i-Khedut portal to avail the benefits of this scheme. After that, the applicant should take a printout of the application and keep it with him. For more information about this scheme contact your local Gram Sevak, Extension Officer (Agriculture) at Taluka level or “Zilla Pashupalan Adhikari Shri” at District level.
First, open Google on your mobile or computer and type “ikhedut portal”.
Where to open the official website of ikhedut portal.
One has to click on the “Scheme” that will appear on the Home Page in the IKhedoot Portal website.
After clicking on the scheme on the official website a new page will open which says “Click here for Animal Husbandry Schemes. Click on it.
In which a new page has to be opened by clicking on “Apply” in the aid scheme for IVF pregnancy in cattle of the state.
If you have already registered on i-khedoot portal then select “Yes” and if you have not registered then select “No”.
Online Application Form
If the farmer has registered on the portal, the Captcha Image has to be entered by entering the Aadhaar card number and mobile number.
If the beneficiary farmer is not registered on the i-Khedoot portal, he has to select ‘No’ to apply online.
The farmer beneficiary has to click on “Save Application” after verifying the complete information in “Assistance Scheme for IVF Conception in Cattle of the State”.
In this scheme, the application has to be confirmed after fully verifying the information filled online.
Once the online application is confirmed by the beneficiary, there will be no correction or increase in the Application Number.
After applying online, the farmer beneficiary has to take a printout based on his application.
After printing the application and affixing the necessary signatures and coins, the Gram Sevak of your area and the concerned Taluk Extension Officer (Horticulture) should be given along with the document.
