Gujarat Mukhyamantri Matrushakti Yojana 2024: Hello, Government of Gujarat has introduced the Chief Minister Matrushakti Yojana to provide essential nutrition to pregnant women for their unborn babies. The scheme provides free monthly provisions of 2 kg gram, 1 kg tuwer dal and 1 liter singe oil at Anganwadi centres, ensuring a healthy start for both mother and child.

There is a scheme to provide nutritious food to pregnant mothers under the “Mukhyamantri Matrashakti Yojana” run by Gujarat Women and Child Development Department. From conception to 2 years of child birth, 1000 days of pregnancy i.e. from 9 months of pregnancy (270 days) to 2 years of child birth (730 days) to take special care of the health of a pregnant woman. . 1000 days of maternal and child health. Free nutritious food is provided for this.
Matrashakti Yojana, spearheaded by the Chief Minister, provides 2 kg gram, 1 kg tuvar dal and 1 liter single oil to mothers monthly from the time of conception till the child reaches 2 years of age. The initiative aims to enhance child development. Nutrition intake and protect mothers from malnutrition and related health problems. The focus is mainly on the 1000 Diwas MMY programme.
The objective of the program is to ensure that pregnant women and their unborn children receive essential nutrients such as protein, fat and vitamins for optimal physical and mental development. By providing proper nutrition to breastfeeding mothers, their babies also benefit from the nutrients found in breast milk. The program is designed to prioritize the nutritional needs of both mother and child.
With the goal of reducing rates of malnutrition and anemia, efforts are being made to ensure access to healthy food for women and children.
The program aims to support pregnant women of the state, irrespective of their background, by offering them continuous nutritious food for 1000 days. It specifically targets mothers in rural and isolated areas, ensuring that they receive the necessary provisions from the time they conceive until their child reaches the age of 2 years.

Sign up online at the official government website for Women and Child Development Department of Gujarat at the web address https://1000d.gujarat.gov.in/.
To enroll in the Anganwadi programme, a pregnant woman can visit the nearest center with her Aadhaar card details and her name is added to the center’s list by the administrator. Alternatively, if necessary an Anganwadi worker or manager can go to the woman’s sister’s house and register her as a beneficiary.
Registration:
First of all go to the official website https://1000d.gujarat.gov.in/.
After that, click on the “Self Registration” tick on the service.
In which the Aadhaar Card Number of the beneficiary, the name of the beneficiary as per the Aadhaar card has to be written.
After that the date of birth of the beneficiary has to be entered. After that click on Validate Aadhaar.
The name of the nearest Anganwadi of the beneficiary, the name of the worker/worker and the mobile number of the beneficiary have to be entered.
OTP will come on mobile, enter that OTP and click on Save and Next.
Submit:
In the next step, the basic information about the beneficiary and information about the pregnancy of the beneficiary has to be filled.
After that clicking on Confirm and Submit button will complete the registration process.
