Before applying for Aadhaar, the applicant should ensure that he has all the documents required for this. Carry all these documents with you before going to the centre. First of all, find an Aadhaar facility center near you. You can get this information by visiting the Aadhaar website https://uidai.gov.in/.
After this, submit the form by visiting these Aadhaar facility centers along with supporting documents like your identity certificate and residence certificate.
Once all documents are accepted, submit your biometric data including fingerprints and iris identification.
From here you will get a receipt with 14 digit enrollment number written on it. You can use it to know your Aadhaar card status.
