LIC launched WhatsApp services , now policy related features and details will be available at home

WhatsApp has become increasingly popular as a means of communication. Along with personal use, WhatsApp is also being used by business companies to take their business to consumers. In this episode, good news for policy holders, LIC (Life Insurance Corporation) has launched a WhatsApp service, where customers will get policy related features and details. By using the WhatsApp service, the policy holder will get many features like premium information, ULIP plan statement right on the phone.

Let us tell you that it has launched its first interactive WhatsApp service for policyholders. Policyholders who have registered their policy on LIC online portal can avail various benefits like premium details, statement of ULIP scheme from LIC’s official WhatsApp chatbox. According to an official LIC statement, policyholders who have not registered their policy online have been asked to register first to avail the service on WhatsApp.

How to use WhatsApp services of LIC

To use LIC WhatsApp services, save the official WhatsApp number of LIC (8976862090) in your phone contacts. After this open your WhatsApp and then search and open WhatsApp chat box of LIC of India. Now send Hi in chat box. LIC Chatbot will send you 11 options to choose from. Reply in chat with option number for service selection. After this, LIC will share the necessary details in the WhatsApp chat. Always keep in mind that you send messages from your registered number only.

How to register your policy on LIC online portal

For this, visit the official website of LIC Now click on the option of “Customer Portal” and open it. If you are a new user, click on “New User” and enter all the required details. Now select your user id and password and then submit your details. Now login to the online portal using your user ID. Then click on “Ad Policy” under “Basic Services”. Now add all your policy details to complete the registration.
