Old Age Pension Scheme 2023
The scheme has been launched by the Ministry of Rural Development. Under which it is for the beneficiaries who are 60 years or above (65 years as per revised age limit in year-2011) and below poverty line and are eligible as per revised norms of Government of India from time to time. Gujarat Vridha Pension Yojana 2023 This scheme is run as a part of National Social Assistance Programme.
Objective of Old Age Pension Scheme
Through this Vrudh Pension Yojana Gujarat, this scheme has been started with the aim of providing financial help to the destitute elderly people of Gujarat and they can also spend their lives on their own feet and they can also get material facilities financially and lead a good life.
Eligibility for availing this scheme
Beneficiary should have poverty line identity card showing 0-16 points.
Beneficiary should be a citizen of India.
Beneficiary should be 60 years or above.
Benefit admissible under Old Age Pension Scheme
In Vrudh Pension Yojana, the beneficiary who is above 60 years of age will get a total assistance of Rs. 1000 directly deposited in his bank account. And for the applicant who is 80 years old or above, a total assistance of Rs.1250 is credited to his account through direct DBT.
In the Divyang Pension Yojana, a disabled person whose age is more than 45 years and whose disability is more than 75 percent will be eligible to receive Rs. 1,000 per month as assistance.
Documents to apply in this scheme
Friends, before filling the old age pension scheme form you will need the following documents.
Applicant’s proof of age (L.C, proof of date of birth)
aadhar card
Income certificate
Proof of resident of Gujarat for last 10 years (Criminal)
Proof of Residence (Ration Card, Chutni Card)
Civil Surgeon’s certificate if the beneficiary is disabled
If there is a son, his age should not be more than 21 years
If the age of the son is more than 21 years but suffering then a doctor’s certificate to that effect

The pension scheme form can be obtained in the following manner to avail the benefit of this scheme.
From District Collector Office
This form can be obtained free of charge from the Mamlatdar office.
From Village Level (V.C.E.) Gram Panchayat can apply online.
