Type of license
The following types of license are issued based on the category of vehicles:
License issued for light motor vehicles: This type of LL includes vehicles like jeeps, auto rickshaws and delivery vans.
License issued for Medium Passenger Vehicle: This type of license includes Tempo and Minivan.
Learning license promulgated for medium goods vehicles: This type of license includes vehicles like delivery trucks and tempos used for goods.
License issued for heavy passenger vehicles: This type of license includes vehicles like large buses and vans.
License issued for heavy goods vehicles: This type of license includes heavy trucks and other heavy vehicles.
Learning license issued for gearless motor cycles: This includes gearless scooters and mopeds.
Learning License for Light Vehicles: This includes Geared Cars and Bikes etc.
Criteria for obtaining Driving License Online Form
To obtain a learner’s license for a motor vehicle not exceeding 50cc engine capacity, a person must be above 16 years of age and must have the consent of their parents. Apply For Driving License.
Must be above 18 years of age to get learner license for light vehicle.
A person must be above 20 years of age to get a driving license for a commercial vehicle.

For Apply For Driving License go to the official website sarathi.parivahan.gov.in before 100.
Now click on the ‘Driver/Learners License’ option from the homepage.
After that select the state of Gujarat in the new page.
After selecting the state, in the new page that opens, select the option of ‘Apply For Learner License’ in the first option and click on Continue in the second page.
Now select your category and district in the new page and click on ‘Submit’ button.
After that now enter your mobile number and click on ‘Authenticate With Sarathi’ by entering OTP.
Then fill all the required information accurately in the form that opens in the next page and click on the submit button.
Then select the type of license and pay the fee online.
Then finally upload all the required documents and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
