Namo Lakshmi Yojana 2024 Benefits
The initial goal of Namo Lakshmi Yojana is to provide financial assistance to adolescent girls so that they can continue their higher education. Boosting school enrolment, reducing school dropout rate, promoting nutritional health of young adolescent women etc. are other goals on which the government will spend Rs 1250 crore.
Under this scheme, girls enrolled in class 9 and 10 will get financial assistance of ₹ 10,000 per annum and girls enrolled in class 11 and 12 will get financial assistance of ₹ 15,000. The scheme will have the participation of both government and private institutions, wherein girls enrolled in class 9 to 12 will be given ₹ 50000 for their 4 years of education. Gujarat Government is going to empower women residents. Some applicants from class 9 and 10 will be selected by the state government who will be paid ₹500 per month.
Namo Lakshmi Yojana Gujarat Eligibility
Before applying, the applicant must fulfill certain criteria, which we are going to explain below. The applicant should be a permanent resident of Gujarat. The applicant must be a female student. The applicant should be studying in any government school and his age should be between 13 to 18 years. Only such candidates who do not have any fixed source of income from the applicant’s house are eligible in this scheme.
