Vali Dhotti Yojana is a new scheme launched by the Gujarat government on 2nd August 2019 to prevent female infanticide and promote girl child education. In the Vali Dotti Yojana, the parents of the daughter will be given financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh 10. This amount is paid in three installments. Which is as follows. The first installment is 4 thousand rupees when the daughter gets admission in 1st grade, the second installment is 6 thousand rupees when the daughter enters the ninth grade of the secondary school and the third installment is 1 lakh rupees when the daughter turns 18 for higher studies, total Rs. 1,10,000 will get financial assistance.
Objective of Vali Dhoti Yojana
Vahali Dikri Yojana aims to improve the birth ratio, increase the education level of girls, save the future of girls and promote child birth, Gujarat government has announced the launch of this scheme. Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance to the parents of girls.
Eligibility for availing this scheme
All daughters among the first three children of the family will be eligible for the benefit of Vahali Dikri Yojana
Only daughters born after 2 August 2019 can benefit from this scheme (vahali dikri yojana age limit).
The age of the mother must be 18 years or more at the time of the daughter
Applicant should be permanent resident of Gujarat state.
Annual family income should not exceed 2 lakh rupees.
Benefits under the Vali Dhoti Yojana
Under the Beloved Daughter Scheme, a daughter is eligible to receive a total assistance of Rs.110000 in three installments.
First installment
Daughter with first class admission Rs. 4000
Second installment
Daughter at the time of admission in ninth standard Rs. 6000
Third installment
The third and final installment will be Rs.100000 when the daughter turns 18 and gets married.

How to apply?
If you live in a rural area, you will have to go to the village panchayat and there will be a VCE operator who will apply online.
And if you live in the city, you can go to the Mamlatdar office and apply.
Then you have to give the required documents to that operator and then he will give you the online application.
And then it will give you access to fill the online form and you have to save it.
After submission of your form, you will be informed whether your form is approved or rejected in maximum 45 days.
