Millions of rupees are available in PM Janaman Yojana 2024, know how to apply?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi for PM Janaman Yojana (PM Janaman Yojana 2024) Rs. The first installment of 540 crores has been announced. One lakh people will benefit from it. PM Janam Yojana was launched in November 2024 on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day. The scheme was introduced in the 2024-25 budget speech. According to the 2011 census, the Scheduled Tribe (ST) population in India is 10.45 crore, with 75 communities in 18 states and the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands identified as Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). The PVTG is backward in social, economic and educational sectors.
How to register for PMAYG
If you want to register for PM Janaman Yojana, you can register by visiting the PMAYG portal. For this the following steps have to be followed
Step-1: First go to login page of PMAYG portal.
Step-2: Then enter the required details (like Gender, Mobile Number, Aadhaar Number etc.) in the Personal Details page section.
Step-3: Upload required consent form to use Aadhaar number.
Step-4: Click on search button to find beneficiary name, PMAY ID and priority.
Step-5: After this click on Select to Register.
Step-6: Beneficiary details will be automatically generated and displayed. After this, beneficiary details like ownership, relationship, Aadhaar number etc. have to be entered.
Step-7: Upload the required consent form to use the Aadhaar number on behalf of the beneficiary.
Step-8: After this, enter the beneficiary account details like bank account number etc. in the next section.
Step-9: If the beneficiary wants to take a loan, select “Yes” and enter the required loan amount. Then in a separate section the beneficiary has to enter MGNREGA job card number and Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) number. After this the next part will be filled by the concerned office. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural (PMAYG) Subsidy Scheme
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (pm awas yojana gramin), the beneficiaries will get Rs. Can get loan up to 70,000. This amount is used to build permanent housing.
Interest rates will be less than 3 percent compared to normal, unsubsidized loans.
The maximum principal amount for which subsidy can be claimed is Rs. 2 lakhs.
Additional benefits like LPG connection and other essential facilities are also available under Ujjwala Yojana.
